I ordered a special 30th birthday cookie from The baking butterfly back in August. My partner isn't a huge lover of cake so cookies is the way to his heart! We both have a number of dietary requirements and Vicky was able to meet every single one of them! The cookie was extremely tasty and made to perfection! Free from baking isn't easy and she made it look effortless! It was decorated wonderfully to! The cost was way better then I was expecting! Especially for free from. I highly highly recommend placing your orders with her! Thankyou Vicky!

I requested a special 60th birthday cake for my husband at very short notice on the shape of our adopted duck, Peggy. Vicky was able to accommodate me and produced a masterpiece which bore a pretty close resemblance to the real thing. The cake tasted great. Although the price seemed quite a lot to start with, given I wanted something for just 6 people, it was a lot larger than anticipated and almost a week later we are still able to eat it. Vicky was also able to help in terms of collection which was much appreciated. I would certainly recommend Butterfly Cakes

This is second time/year (2025) we ordered the birthday cake for our daughter from Vicky. We chose "A very hungry caterpillar" this time since it's our daughter's favourite book. We brought the cake to her nursery on her birthday, all kids are so amazed by this lovely strawberry cake. Nothing left to us, her nursery friends/carers finished the cake, but we are sure it was very 'yummy' from their happy faces. Thank you so much again, Vicky xx Our daughter loves anything related to Halloween, therefore when I saw Vicky's lovely Halloween theme cakes on her social medias, we decided to approach her for a Pumpkin Birthday Cake. Vicky responded to my message and accepted our order with a short notice. We only gave Vicky a brief description of this cake, the final presentation is far more out of our expectation, it is exquisite and sophisticated. We almost cried when opening the box. The taste of the cake is perfect, a well balanced flavour. All guests were impressed by the presentation of the cake and loved the taste. They immediately asked us where we ordered this cake, of course, we shared Vicky's webpage. During the ordering process, Vicky was very patient and detailed ordinated by explaining dietary requirements. We are very pleased and happy with Vicky's service and lovely cake which was a big highlight of the party. Thank you Vicky!!

We ordered 3 varieties of cupcakes for a dual birthday celebration. 66 in total. All delicious and beautifully decorated. Vicky was so helpful along the way and a pleasure to deal with. The vegan option was delicious! (I’d hoped they were also gluten free for a restricted guest but I don’t believe that was the case. She skipped it to be safe). Everything else was pure perfection. We were even able to freeze a few of the leftovers and they were very nice defrosted as well. Highly recommended.

Vicky made a Paddington Bear themed cake for my son’s birthday - it turned out exactly as I’d hoped. My son was absolutely thrilled and it tasted amazing. There was so much attention to detail, even little sugar rain drops to match the London theme. Would definitely recommend.

Vicky baked a fabulous cake for my auntie’s 90th birthday. My auntie was a pub landlady all her working life, and I wanted something that mirrored her personality and zest for life. The cake not only looked fab, but was also delicious. I would highly recommend Vicky and will definitely use her services again.

Vicky made my husbands 'Star Wars' cake for his 60th birthday. It was fabulous, he was very happy. The cake was very moist and tasted fantastic. I was also so grateful that Vicky was able to make me this cake over Chistmas as I needed it for the 29th December! Will definately ask Vicky to bake for me again.

The cupcake bouquet was stunning and my friend loved it. Ordering through website was super easy, all emails were responded to quickly and there were no problems with special dietary requirements and taste requests. I cannot recommend enough!
